Senate Bill 845 (Senator Browne): Amends the Local Option Small Games of Chance Act by providing additional rules and guidelines, amending prize limits, allowing for progressive and insured games, and providing for licensing of associations involved in small games of chance.

Amendment A01642 (Senator Corman): Allows for the use of either the Social Security Number or the Pennsylvania driver’s license number of the individuals required to be listed on the application for a license.

Amendment A01643 (Senator Corman): Provides that a licensed eligible organization may sell on its premised the raffle tickets of another licensed eligible organization that has been issued a limited occasion license.

Senate Bill 978 (Senator Folmer): Amends the Bingo Law by amending the definition of “bona fide members”, changes the licensing of bingo associations, increases the total prize amount that may be awarded in a calendar day, authorizes multiple associations to lease the same premises for conducting bingo, changes record-keeping requirements, increases the amount that may be paid per day to a person employed in the operation of actual running of a bingo game, and provides for educational requirements for bingo operators.
